Indoor Season
INDOOR FIXTURES (FRIENDLIES & COUNTY) - (October 2023- April 2024)
As with the outdoor season there is a fixture list of friendly matches and intra Club matches which take place throughout the indoor season. The club needs as much support from members as possible to ensure that we can always field sides for this fundamental part of the club calendar. As well as needing to field sides, the club always needs the voluntary efforts of members to help with the post-match catering/washing up.
Details regarding Club members' participation in county competitions etc will be published in due course.
Please put your name down for the Indoor fixtures. This can be done by adding your name to the lists which will be posted on the club Notice Board.
INDOOR CLUB COMPETITIONS AND LEAGUES
The club normally runs 4 different Mixed Triples Leagues: These are held on Monday Night, Tuesday Afternoon, Wednesday Night and Thursday Morning ; so there should always be some regular competitive bowls to accommodate all members with differing abilities & availabilities. All Leagues are based on 14 Ends or a 2 hour time limit.
In addition to this, there are knock-out competitions in all disciplines Men’s Singles, Ladies Singles, Men’s Pairs, Ladies Pairs, Mixed Pairs, 2 Wood Pairs, Mixed Triples and 2 Wood Singles ; culminating in the club Finals Day in April. This is a well-attended event and a chance to see the clubs finest bowlers going head to head.
